Walkways and paths
Walkways can be simple broom-finished concrete, or colored and stamped to tie into a patio. Gentle slope away from the house and consistent joint spacing keep water moving and cracking under control.
Steps and stoops
Concrete steps need consistent rise and run so they're comfortable and safe, plus a textured finish for winter traction. Failing steps often show the problem at the base, where water and deicer collect.
Sidewalks in the public right-of-way are subject to city standards and typically require a permit, which is confirmed before work begins.
